MUSEUM OF STEAM ENGINE: This colossus of 110 tons, protected since 1978, is the symbol of technical and industrial know-how of the inhabitants of Izegem. 
The town hall had its own power station built at the end of the 19th century. It was inaugurated in 1901 by prince Albert.
